Former SENTINEL BEAST Guitarist Releases FISCHEL'S BEAST Debut

FISCHEL'S BEAST, the solo project of ex-SENTINEL BEAST guitarist Barry Fischel, will release its debut EP, "Commencement", on June 16 via Stormspell Records. The CD consists entirely of material written in 1987 for the second SENTINEL BEAST album, which — due to the band's untimely demise — never got released.

"Commencement" is described in a press relase as "a classic, old-school, intense U.S. power/speed metal in the vein ofSENTINEL BEAST (obviously),early VICIOUS RUMORS, SAVAGE GRACE, and SLAUTER XSTROYES, just to name a few. [It comes with a] 12-page booklet with band info, all lyrics, pictures, and liner notes." The artwork was created by Dimitar Nikolov (HELLHOUND, CHEMICAL ANNIHILATION, FATAL VIOLENCE, HELD UNDER).
